China Coast Guard Warns Philippines to Halt Ren’ai Jiao Provocations

Hey news lovers! 🌊 Yesterday, the China Coast Guard (CCG) fired a warning shot across the bow of the Philippines. They’re urging Manila to immediately stop “infringement activities, provocations and false accusations” in the waters of Ren’ai Jiao in the South China Sea.

CCG spokesperson Gan Yu said a grounded Philippine vessel, No. 57, sent two small boats that headed straight for Chinese ships—despite repeated warnings. The CCG responded with “lawful and appropriate action” to keep its vessels safe.

Gan vowed that the CCG will “continue to enforce the law in the waters of Ren’ai Jiao to firmly safeguard the Chinese mainland’s sovereignty and maritime rights.” 🚨
