What a night for Beijing Guoan fans! The Capital Club tore apart Yunnan Yukun in a jaw-dropping 7-0 win during Wednesday's CFA Cup semifinals. This huge victory sends Guoan into their first Chinese FA Cup final in seven years! 🎉⚽
The action kicked off in the 26th minute when Brazilian forward Fabio Abreu slotted home the opener. Just five minutes later, defender Andrei Burca saw red, leaving Yunnan with 10 men.
With extra space to exploit, Guoan clicked into overdrive. Midfielder Sai Erjiniao turned playmaker, setting up Wang Gang and Guga to stretch the lead to 3-0 by halftime.
The second half was pure goal-fest. Between minutes 74 and 78, Lin Liangming, Jiang Wenhao, Zhang Xizhe and Zhang Yuning all hit the back of the net. Zhang Yuning topped it off with two assists and a goal of his own–absolute 🔥!
On December 5 in Suzhou, Guoan faces Henan in the final. A shot at a fifth CFA Cup title awaits–can the Capital Club reclaim the crown? Let's go, Guoan! 🙌
