Beijing Talks Boost China-Croatia Partnership & Trade

In a vibrant meeting in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlic Radman reaffirmed a long tradition of mutual respect and cooperation. 😊

Marking the 20th anniversary of their comprehensive partnership, Wang Yi stressed the need to enhance exchanges at all levels, build trust, and align the Belt and Road Initiative with Croatia’s development strategies.

The talks also celebrated diplomatic milestones, including the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the EU, highlighting the importance of a stable and dynamic international relationship in addressing global challenges. 🤝

Radman reiterated that Croatia adheres to the one-China policy, recognizing that the government of the People’s Republic of China is the sole legal representative of the whole of China and affirming that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory. He emphasized expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and connectivity.
