The third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in Beijing wrapped up on Sunday with a record 6,000+ cooperation deals, marking a milestone for global trade partnerships. Hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), the five-day event brought together around 1,200 exhibitors from the Chinese mainland and abroad, attracting over 210,000 attendees both online and in person—a 5% increase compared to last year.
During the expo, participants engaged in 24,000 targeted matchmaking sessions, a figure four times higher than the previous year. In addition, 152 new products, technologies, and services were launched, representing a 67% year-on-year increase. Exhibitors also forged business links with over 42,000 upstream and downstream enterprises, emphasizing the event's focus on establishing long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Li Xingqian, vice-chairman of CCPIT, explained, "We're not chasing short-term on-site transaction volumes. Our focus is on fostering long-term mutually beneficial partnerships. This year, we revamped our evaluation metrics to better support exhibitors and visitors in finding partners, solutions, and application scenarios."
International participation has been on the rise too; global exhibitors increased from 26% at the inaugural event to 35% this year, while the number of participating countries and regions grew from 55 to 75 in 2025. Prominent Global Fortune 500 companies and leading firms in their sectors showcased their innovations, underscoring the expo's influence on worldwide supply chain dynamics.
Highlighting the significance of the event, Li remarked, "China occupies a vital position in global supply chains. Without linking to China, it's difficult to link to the world." With 102 companies and institutions already signed up for the fourth edition of CISCE—a 50% jump in registrations—the future looks bright for continued collaboration and innovation.
This dynamic event not only showcased the Chinese mainland's robust supply chain capabilities but also offered an inspiring glimpse into the power of global partnerships. Whether you're a business professional, student, or a curious explorer of international trends, CISCE sets the stage for a future of groundbreaking cooperation 🚀.
