China Unveils Bold Plan to Boost Domestic Service Industry

In an exciting move set to shake up the domestic service industry, China on Monday unveiled a comprehensive plan that targets a major boost for this crucial sector while driving all-round rural revitalization. The strategy, coordinated by the Ministry of Commerce alongside eight other agencies, introduces 14 key measures aimed at expanding service supply and sparking consumer demand.

Among its initiatives, the plan focuses on expanding rural employment by encouraging more participation in the domestic service industry, ramping up vocational training to build essential skills, and strengthening social security for rural laborers. These steps are designed to stabilize employment and improve everyday livelihoods.

The blueprint also commits to increasing affordable housing, especially for domestic service migrant workers making the transition to urban life. By improving access to basic public services, this effort will help bridge the gap between rural and urban communities. 🚀

Currently, nearly 300 million rural migrant workers and over 30 million professionals work in the domestic service sector, which already comprises more than one million enterprises generating a market size of over 1.1 trillion yuan. This bold initiative marks a significant leap towards economic stabilization and inclusive growth.

As China charts this dynamic path forward, the move is set to inspire confidence in job creation and urban integration, reinforcing the nation’s commitment to a prosperous and balanced future.
