Cangyu Space Launches World’s 1st Commercial High-Orbit Satellite Program

Exciting news for space fans! Chinese private space company Cangyu Space is set to change the game with the launch of the world's first commercial high-orbit satellite program.

At the 2025 Shenzhen (Luohu) Aerospace Industry Conference held in south China's Guangdong Province, Cangyu Space unveiled plans to launch its first geostationary (GEO) satellite in 2026. This launch is the first step in an ambitious 13-satellite constellation aimed at building a global space-based information network by 2030. 🚀

The constellation will include 4 GEO, 6 medium-Earth orbit (MEO), and 3 inclined-geosynchronous orbit (IGSO) satellites, offering round-the-clock coverage and all-weather connectivity for low Earth orbit satellites, rockets, crewed spacecraft, IoT devices, and more. Imagine being connected anywhere on the planet, rain or shine! 🌐

In a further push for innovation, Cangyu Space announced plans to establish an Innovation Center for Relay-Based Real-Time Remote Sensing in Luohu District in collaboration with Wuhan University. This partnership will leverage academic strengths in geomatics and remote sensing with cutting-edge satellite communication technologies to advance real-time remote sensing applications. 🎓

Adding to the excitement, Luohu District is rapidly emerging as an aerospace hub with pioneering companies like LandSpace, Unified Net, and MagicCubeSat already on board. The district aims to welcome over 20 more leading enterprises, reinforcing the fusion of space technology and the digital economy. 🔥

From revolutionizing satellite communications to fostering global connectivity, Cangyu Space is launching us into a new era of space exploration. Stay tuned for more updates as this inspiring journey reaches for the stars! 🚀✨
