Astana, Kazakhstan – In a vibrant display of cross-regional collaboration, Astana played host to the 2025 China-Central Asia Media Cooperation Forum on Thursday. Under the theme of building a closer China-Central Asia community with a shared future, more than 200 media professionals, officials, experts, scholars, and business leaders gathered to explore new pathways for cooperation.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a warm congratulatory letter, noting that the Belt and Road Initiative, proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping, has garnered wide international recognition as a strategic concept for global cooperation. Jointly hosted by China's People’s Daily and the Kazakh Presidential Radio and Television Administration, the event featured exciting launches including the 2025 Forum Photo Exhibition and a China-Central Asia Media Joint Interview on high-quality Belt and Road Initiative cooperation.
