China, France Unite for Open Global Trade

In a dynamic push for global trade, Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng announced that China is ready to work with France to enhance multilateral coordination and foster an open, cooperative economic environment. At the 10th China-France High Level Economic and Financial Dialogue, co-chaired by He and French minister Eric Lombard, both sides discussed ways to deepen economic partnerships and drive mutual growth.

Last year marked the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France, adding extra significance to this dialogue. Leaders from both sides emphasized that strengthening ties will create a favorable trade and investment landscape, benefiting businesses, entrepreneurs, and everyday consumers.

This high-level discussion went beyond words. Bilateral cooperation documents were signed on key topics such as poultry meat, breeding poultry, and eggs, showcasing practical steps toward enhanced economic and financial collaboration.

During his visit to France, He Lifeng also toured local family farms and met with representatives from diverse sectors including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and aviation. Meanwhile, Eric Lombard expressed France's commitment to offering high-quality products for Chinese consumers and creating an inviting environment for Chinese enterprises to expand in France.

With pressing global challenges like climate change and the need for trade freedom on the agenda, this move marks a promising step forward for international cooperation. The renewed China-France partnership is set to spark further collaboration across Europe and beyond. 🚀🌍
