At around 1:17 p.m. on April 30, a serious explosion shook a residential complex in Xiaodian District, Taiyuan City, in the Chinese mainland's Shanxi Province. The blast has resulted in one fatality, 21 injuries (six in critical condition), and two individuals reported missing. 💥

Quick response teams moved into action as 210 firefighters and 43 rescue vehicles were dispatched to the scene. China's Ministry of Emergency and Management activated a remote emergency response and sent a dedicated working group to support rescue efforts.
