History was made on Monday as Blue Origin launched an all-female celebrity crew into space! Pop superstar Katy Perry, famous for hits like 'Firework' and 'California Gurls', led this dynamic team aboard Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket. 
Joining Perry were five remarkable women, including Jeff Bezos's fiancée Lauren Sanchez, veteran TV host Gayle King, film producer Kerianne Flynn, innovative ex-NASA engineer Aisha Bowe, and scientist Amanda Nguyen. Their 10-minute journey from western Texas soared past the internationally recognized Karman line, marking the first all-female space crew since Valentina Tereshkova's historic solo flight in 1963.
The fully automated flight saw the crew capsule detach mid-journey and safely return to Earth, thanks to parachutes and a retro rocket.
