China’s Ambitious Plan to Boost Government Efficiency by 2025

China is set to enhance government efficiency and performance by 2025, according to a recent government work report.

Delivered by Premier Li Qiang at the opening meeting of the third session of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing, the report outlines a realistic and pragmatic approach to solving problems based on actual conditions.

The plan emphasizes aligning practical work with the decisions and plans made by the Communist Party of China Central Committee, developing strong drivers and levers, and boosting the ability to implement policies creatively.

One of the key focuses is accelerating the development of a digital government. This includes improving the mechanism for list-based management of major matters covered by one-stop government services and ensuring ongoing progress.

Additionally, China aims to refine its integrated national online platform for government services, making it more efficient and user-friendly for its citizens. 🚀
