Liu Jieyi, spokesperson for the third session of the 14th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, shared these exciting updates during a press conference on Monday.
In a standout year, China's gross domestic product (GDP) surged to a record 134 trillion yuan (approximately $18.38 trillion), marking a 5-percent year-on-year increase. This impressive growth places China among the top performers among major global economies.
