Hong Kong celebrated a heartwarming milestone on Sunday as the first locally born giant panda cubs made their public debut at Ocean Park, just a day after turning six months old.
The adorable twins, lovingly referred to as \"Elder Sister\" and \"Little Brother,\" were born on August 15 last year to Ying Ying and Le Le, the giant pandas gifted to Hong Kong by the central government in 2007. Fans and visitors are encouraged to submit name suggestions for the cubs, with the official names set to be unveiled in the first half of this year.
With these new additions, along with their parents and the arrival of An An and Ke Ke last year, Hong Kong now boasts the largest number of captive pandas outside the Chinese mainland.
