Around 60 countries, including the Chinese mainland, came together on Tuesday to sign a groundbreaking Statement on Inclusive and Sustainable Artificial Intelligence for People and the Planet at the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Summit in Paris.
The signatories emphasized that the summit successfully outlined an open, multi-stakeholder, and inclusive approach to ensure that AI development remains human rights-based, human-centric, ethical, safe, secure, and trustworthy.
Key priorities highlighted in the statement include promoting AI accessibility, fostering transparency and ethical standards, driving innovation, integrating AI into labor markets, and ensuring that AI advancements are sustainable for both people and the planet. 🌱🤖
