China’s 2025 New Year Reception Lights Up Beijing with Global Friendship 🌏✨

Beijing was buzzing with excitement on Friday as Foreign Minister Wang Yi hosted the Chinese Foreign Ministry's 2025 New Year reception at the vibrant Beijing Performing Arts Center. 🎉✨

The event was a global melting pot, attended by Yin Li, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretary of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, alongside diplomatic envoys from around the world and representatives of international organizations in China. In total, about 400 guests joined the celebration! 🌐🤝

Wang Yi, also a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, took to the stage to highlight China's commitment to building a community with a shared future for mankind. He shared how China's foreign service has been striving for peace and taking responsibility for global development. "We've contributed greater stability and positive energy to a turbulent world," he said, sparking applause from the audience. 🌟👏

He acknowledged the efforts of diplomatic envoys and international representatives who have traveled across China over the past year, building bridges of friendship and strengthening ties with the Chinese people. "Together, we're making the world a smaller, friendlier place," Wang Yi added with a smile. 😊🌍

Martin Mpana, dean of the foreign diplomatic corps in China and Cameroon's ambassador to China, extended warm New Year wishes on behalf of the diplomatic community. He praised China's diplomacy for showcasing its responsibility as a major country and contributing to solving global challenges. "Nations worldwide are eager to deepen friendships and enhance cooperation with China," he remarked. 🤗🌐
