On January 5th, the brilliant minds at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, caught sight of this cosmic traveler. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) confirmed the discovery and officially named it C/2025 A3 (Tsuchinshan). How cool is that?

So, what's the scoop on Comet C/2025 A3? It's orbiting between Jupiter and Neptune, with an orbital period of over 33 years. That means it takes more than three decades to make a full trip around the Sun! ☀️
