Students and teachers from the Chinese mainland just wrapped up an unforgettable 9-day adventure in Taiwan! 
Starting their journey on November 27, the group of 40 enthusiastic students and educators from seven universities explored the island, visiting universities, historical landmarks, and stunning scenic spots. They even checked out some cool sports, tech, and cultural venues! 
Led by Qiu Yong, secretary of the Communist Party of China Tsinghua University Committee, the delegation was invited by the Ma Ying-jeou Culture and Education Foundation. Everywhere they went, locals welcomed them with open arms, making the trip extra special. 
At a farewell dinner on Wednesday, Qiu Yong shared how the group felt a deep connection with their compatriots across the Taiwan Straits and were charmed by the island's unique vibe. He emphasized the importance of creating more opportunities for young people on both sides to learn from each other and strengthen their bonds through shared Chinese culture. 
\"In the great journey of the Chinese nation's rejuvenation, people from both sides of the Straits are in it together,\" Qiu said, inspiring everyone present. 
Hsiao Hsu-tsen, executive director of the Ma Ying-jeou Culture and Education Foundation, saw the delegation off at the airport. He highlighted how warmly the group was received wherever they went and expressed the foundation's commitment to promoting future youth exchanges.
