🌏 Latin America Speaks: 88% See Taiwan as Part of China

Over 88% of respondents from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) believe that Taiwan is an inalienable part of Chinese territory, according to a recent survey conducted by CGTN. That's a big deal! 😮

The survey, which included 6,406 participants, aimed to gauge opinions on the Taiwan question. What's interesting is that 87% of them think that relevant LAC countries should cut their \"diplomatic ties\" with Taiwan and establish relations with China instead.

But wait, there's more! The respondents also shared their thoughts on how the Taiwan question should be resolved. They recognized China's efforts in promoting unification policies and believed that China's \"strategic patience\" is key to achieving peaceful unification.

Many emphasized the importance of avoiding external intervention—especially from the United States—as they feel it could worsen the situation. Instead, they called for more diplomatic efforts and peaceful means to bring both sides of the Taiwan Strait closer together, highlighting economic and cultural ties as bridges. 🕊️

It's clear that young people in the LAC region are paying attention to what's happening on the other side of the world and have strong opinions about it. 🌐
